Bring back that showroom shine.
A brief of overview of what to expect.
1. Book your oven cleaning appointment
Book an appointment with me by phone, message or through the enquiry form. I will ask you to send clear images of your oven, hob, extractor or other appliance so that I can understand what you need and provide an accurate quote for the job.
2. Arrival and setup
I will arrive at the agreed date and time, ready to carry out your professional oven clean. Before I start, we will have a brief conversation so that you can point out anything important that I may need to know, and I can find the oven isolator switch or socket.
3. Appliance testing and safe isolation
I will test the appliance before cleaning begins, checking that the oven and any included hob or extractor are working as expected. This gives us a clear starting point before any components are removed.
I will then isolate the power supply so that I can dismantle and clean the appliance safely. The oven must be switched off and cool before I begin work.
4. Removing the oven parts for dip-tank cleaning
Where the appliance design allows, I will carefully remove the trays, oven racks, back plate, fan and other removable components.
I will take the removable parts to the specialist heated dip tank in my van, where they can soak in a very hot cleaning solution. The solution helps dissolve grease, fat and grime while I work on the rest inside your home.
5. Deep cleaning the oven cavity and grill area
While the oven racks, trays and other parts are soaking, I will clean the inside of the appliance. This includes the oven cavity, sides, base, roof, door and accessible door glass, removing grease, food residue and baked-on grime as thoroughly as the appliance condition allows.
Where the design allows, I will drop the grill element to gain better access to the roof of the oven. I use an eco-friendly, biodegradable and non-caustic cleaning process designed to achieve a showroom finish without relying on harsh chemicals.
6. Oven bulbs and simple defects
If your oven bulb has blown, I can replace it where the correct replacement bulb is available and the appliance design allows it. Please mention this when booking so I can be sure that I have a suitable replacement.
If I find a more serious electrical or appliance fault, I will explain what I have found and recommend that you contact a suitably qualified technician.
7. Reassembly and cleaning any additional appliances
Once the oven cavity is clean, I will retrieve the removable parts from the dip tank, and carefully reassemble the oven.
If you have included a hob or extractor in your booking, I will clean those areas and reassemble or refit their accessible components as part of the agreed work.
8. Final testing and a sparkling finish
The final step is to restore the power and test everything again, checking that the oven, hob and extractor are still operating as expected after cleaning and reassembly.
I will leave the kitchen area tidy and stand back to admire a sparkling clean oven that is ready to use.
Most oven cleans take between one and three hours, depending on the appliance, its condition and any additional services included.

Before and after: oven cleaning
Every oven clean is different, but these photographs show the difference a thorough professional oven clean can make. Baked-on grease, food residue and everyday cooking grime can build up inside an oven over time.
By removing the racks and trays for dip-tank cleaning, then working carefully through the oven cavity, door and accessible glass, I can bring back a cleaner, fresher and more hygienic cooking appliance.

Before and after: extractor cleaning
Extractor hoods and filters collect grease and cooking vapour every time you use the hob. Regular professional extractor cleaning helps remove that built-up residue and leaves the area looking brighter and better cared for.
If extractor cleaning is included in your booking, I will clean the accessible hood and components carefully, adapting the work to the appliance design and the condition of the filters.

Before and after: gas hob cleaning
Grease, splashes and burnt-on food can quickly build up around gas burners and pan supports. A careful professional hob clean removes that residue from the accessible surface and leaves the hob looking fresh and ready to use.
I clean around the burners and pan supports with care, adapting the work to the appliance design and the condition of the hob.
